Tarek Fatah is a Toronto-based writer whose life`s work can be summed up as a restless spirit in constant struggle to liberate humanity from obscurantism. 

Fatah has been a backer of the Baloch national movement in Karachi University since the 1960s and spent time in Mach Jail in 1970 under the Yahya Khan Martial Law.

He is the author of Chasing a Mirage: The Tragic Illusion of an Islamic State (Wiley 2008) and The Jew Is Not My Enemy: Unveiling the Myth that Fuel Anti-Semitism (McLelland & Stewart 2010).

Tarek Fatah writes a weekly column for the Toronto Sun and hosts a popular weekly show on Toronto’s CFRB NewsTalk1010 AM Radio.
