SIBI, (SANA): An anti-terrorism court has issued arrest warrants for former President Pervaiz Musharraf and former Prime Minister Shaukhat Aziz in the Akbar Bugti murder case. The court also issued arrest warrants for former Interior Minister Aftab Sherpao, former Governor Balochistan Owais Ahmed Ghani, former Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Yousuf and the former Balochistan Home Minister. The hearing of the case has been adjourned till July 18. Akbar Bugti’s murder case was registered in Kohlu police station. The session’s court in Kohlu had sent this case through the High Court to the anti-terrorism court in Sibi on July 4. The ATC Judge Khan Muhammad Nawaz Khan Barakzai has also summoned all investigation officers on July 18.In his FIR, Jamil Bugti nominated former prime minister Shaukat Aziz, former governor Owais Ghani, former chief minister Jam Muhammad Yousaf, former interior minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao and former provincial home minister Mir Shoaib Nosharwani for the killing as well.The prosecution has submitted 5,000 pages of documents in the case. If proven guilty, the accused can be given a death sentence.Hadi also said that the police had not recorded the statements of former prime minister Aziz and the ministers who had discussed the planned assassination in 2006 in Islamabad.
