QUETTA: Another dead body of a Baloch missing person was found near Gadani on Friday. It was later identified as that of Mir Ghaffar Lango, a political activist, who was listed as missing from Karachi some two years ago. He had been missing for the longest period of time. According to Gadani SHO, the police spotted a body in an abandoned hotel near Lakbado area of Gadani. “The body bore multiple marks of brutal torture. Cause of the death is stated to be a severe wound in the head, caused by a hard rod or some other hard or sharp object,” he told this scribe. He added the body was shifted to Karachi for autopsy and determination of identity. Ghafar Lango’s family, chiefly his children, who had been protesting in Quetta, Islamabad and Karachi for the last two years, put the blame on security agencies for their father’s killing. |
