One of the pioneers of the Baloch National
Struggle and the great revolutionary poet, Mir Gul Khan Naseer was paid rich tributes by the Baloch community
in London.
In a memorial gathering in the University of London
on 11th December, 2011 organized by the Baloch Human Rights Council
(UK), the speakers highlighted the contributions by Mir Gul Khan Naseer and his
associates for their role in Injuman e Itehad e Baloch wa Balochistan, Kalat
State National Party, Ustoman Gal and National Awami Party.
The speakers shed light on his life and his
political and literary services and sacrifices that he rendered to Baloch
national struggle.
Waja Akber Barakzai presided over the meeting.
Speakers on the occasion included Ismael Amiri, Dr. Naseer Dashti, Jamshed Amiri, Shahab Baloch and Samad Baloch.
To pay respects to hundreds of martyrs who sacrificed their life in the
long drawn struggle for Baloch sovereignty and dignity, one minute silence was
observed.
