Balochistan shut down for third day to protest target killing of political leaders
A complete shutter down strike was observed in Baloch dominated parts of Balochistan for the third consecutive day on Thursday to protest the murder of Baloch Republican Party (BRP) leader Sangat Sana Baloch. The strike had been called was given by the BRP, Baloch National Movement (BNM) and Baloch Students Organisation (BSO-Azad). Other nationalist parties had supported their shutter down call. All business and trade activities in Khuzdar, Panjgur, Gwadar, Turbat, Pasni, Mastung, Mongechar, Awaran, Kharan, Masky, Tump, Bulieda, Hushap, Naushki, Dalbandin, Kalat and Hub came to a halt. Government offices, banks, educational institutions and commercial establishments remained closed for the third consecutive day in these areas causing inconvenience to the general people.
