Activists were seen carrying banners and placards with slogans against the government and its functionaries for their failure to maintain peace in the province.
Addressing the demonstration, HRCP Balochistan chairman Tahir Hussain said that rights groups had been raising their voice against the worsening state of human rights in the province for the last couple of years but the government had turned a deaf ear to thisappeal. They have failed to take practical steps for bringing peace, he said.
