US concerned over Balochistan situation

ISLAMABAD: The US is very much concerned over the situation in Balochistan, says the US embassy.Talking to Online the US embassy Spokesperson Mark Stroh said Tuesday that Washington wishes revamping of Balochistan situation. He said his country understands that development in all provinces, including Balochistan should be supported.To a question regarding US congress’s committee meeting on Balochistan said that yes such a meeting was scheduled after serious concerns in his country about the situation in the province. The US State department last month had called upon Pakistan to take step for improving situation in Balochistan.Balochistan these days is a hot topic in the Pakistani parliament, Supreme Court and the PPP-led government. However, Pakistan considers it as its internal issue and it may publicly express its annoyance over discussion in the US Congress on Balochistan and also convey it to the Obama administration soon.  http://www.onlinenews.com.pk/details.php?id=188946
