Balochistan: Two more Baloch missing persons found dead

QUETTA: Two more bullet-riddled dead bodies of Baloch missing persons, including that of a nephew of the late former district president of BNF Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, were found in Sorab area in Turbat on Saturday, police said
According to a police constable, Barkat Baloch, police received information about the presence of two dead bodies in Sorab area. The local administration, police and Balochistan levies rushed to the spot and shifted the corpses to District Headquarter Hospital, Turbat.

One of the deceased was identified as Asif Baloch s/o Mohammad Yusuf, resident of Mand, nephew of the late Ghulam Mohammad Baloch. The other victim was identified as Abu Bakar Baloch s/o Ali Mohammad, resident of Nokabad area of Turbat city. “The victims were brutally tortured before they were killed,” hospital sources said, adding the victims were shot twice in their heads and chests. It may be reminded that the late Ghulam Mohammad Baloch was whisked away from the office of Kachkol Baloch, former opposition leader, in the main Turbat Bazaar along with two others and their bullet-riddled dead bodies were spotted later on.
Official sources said that Asif Baloch was whisked away from Karachi by armed men, when he was traveling in a passenger coach about a month ago. Abu Bakar was whisked away from Gwadar on August 3.
Meanwhile, complete shutter down strike was observed in Makran division on Saturday in condemnation of the recovery of bullet-riddled corpses in Mastung, Pasni, Hub besides killings of people of Baloch origin in custody in large numbers. It may be mentioned here that four dead bodies, including three of BSO-Azad activists, were found, while two corpses, including that of a BNP activist, were found from Hub Township area on Thursday. Similarly, two bodies of BNM workers were found from Pasni port city on Friday.
